When you try to access the “testsite” via the network setup results in the siteurl of without the /network/ addition to the address you mentioned. I believe the error message is generated by the server in trying to visit the newly network added “testsite” site. I do appreciate your perseverance and ongoing support in trying to resolve my problem. Is there any conflicting version that might be generating the error? There is such a network folder, but it’s not for “The Network”, it’s a path to network admin resources. This siteurl only appears in the wp_2_options table in phpMyAdmin which was created during the addition of the new site (i.e, testsite) through the network new site addition process. My operating system is windows 10, 64-bit and I use Firefox and Google Chrome as my browsers. I have already spent 2 days trying to work out a solution unsuccessfully. I have checked the table “wp_2_options” for the new created site in phpMyAdmin and the correct URL is registered there.įinally, the name of the database created is “wordpress_local”.
